It’s officially warm weather season, which means we’ll be hittin’ the road to share stories about our favorite personal style bloggers and their quirky, funny, crazy personalities. Meet Patricia of Trendy Shopper Blog. She’s a fun-loving girl from Zaragoza Spain who loves her family, dancing and hangin’ out at the beach with her BFF’s. We recently sat down with the gorgeous bombshell and she dished on her addiction to shoes and the most bold and off-the-wall thing she’s ever done…boarded a plane to surprise a man she was head-over-heels for. Here, Patricia is modeling a pair of our WCS Lena round cat eye sunglasses to accessorize her classic mint green coat and tight black body con dress. Be sure to click on over to her blog for more summer style inspiration.
We know you’ll agree it’s super distressing when a gorgeous babe also just happens to be totally intelligent, all while simultaneously being fun and possessing a great personality. But there’s an exception in the case of Anastasija Milojevic, who works as an economist for an insurance company by day and as a personal style blogger in her off time. Turns out she’s not only got the looks of an angel but she’s also a little daredevil who gets an adrenaline rush from diving and parachute jumping. We can’t help but be delighted by her love of life and her very active social calendar, which regularly involves cocktails and exotic travel destinations with her BFF’s. Ms. A recently modeled a pair of WCS Reprise designer inspired sunglasses to accessorize her sizzling hot pink summer dress. And we were lucky enough to get a preview of her summer style ideas over on her blog, Stasha Fashion. Be sure to head on over there for even more warm weather inspiration.
We’re totally worked up about our hot, new for Summer 2014 Enigma cat eye collection. And, as fate would have it, some of our favorite personal style bloggers are too. Spanish babetron, Patti Santamaria of Shoes & Basicstook a cue from her monochromatic sunnies and got glammed out in black and white for her entire super sophisticated ensemble. She has kept her look simple and understated with a black and white geometric top combined with solid black shorts and studded strappy sandals. She definitely takes it the extra mile with a pop of head-turning ruby red lip color.
Although our ultimate summer would require spending every day down on the beach boardwalk, the actuality is that we’ll most likely have to compromise with our slip-n-slides, sprinklers and homemade ice cream. But hey, we’re not whining, especially since we’re going to show you how to step up your favorite go-to treat with this simple (and delicious) recipe. A few bites of this delectable warm weather delight and you’ll feel like a kid in no time.
1. Whisk together first 3 ingredients in a large heavy saucepan. Gradually whisk in milk and cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 10 to 12 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat.
2. Whisk egg yolk until slightly thickened. Gradually whisk about 1 cup hot cream mixture into yolk. Add yolk mixture to remaining cream mixture, whisking constantly. Whisk in vanilla bean paste. Cool 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
3. Place plastic wrap directly on cream mixture, and chill 8 to 24 hours.
4. Pour mixture into freezer container of a 1 1/2-qt. electric ice-cream maker, and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions. (Instructions and time may vary.)
*Vanilla extract may be substituted.
Decorate with mini chocolate chips, m&m’s, coconut, hot fudge or whatever suits your mood.
Dudes, warmer days and nights are almost officially in full force, and we’re going to share all the casual summer looks with behind-the-scenes pics and interviews with our favorite bloggers of the season. To kick it off, check out Leonarda of Soffi Singles Style. This high school senior from Croatia is an aspiring graphic artist and lover of the aristocratic Mediterranean lifestyle. In her down time she loves hanging with good friends at the beach, barbeques, late drinks and dancing. She admittedly loves being high on adrenaline and once approached a random handsome guy in a club and planted a kiss on him without saying a word! This bombshell’s got it going on here in a comfy soft knit top, flouncy denim mini and a pair of designer style WCS Number One sunglasses. Be sure and check out her great collection of unique summer looks over on her blog.

now you’ve cruised on over to check out Jeffrey Herrero’s blog at least a dozen times (if not, how come?!) and no doubt you want to know more about his strange and wonderful fashion sense. It’s so apparent his awesome mind thinks WAY outside the box when it comes to his personal
style and his profession as an artist. Jeffrey currently lives in Salamanca, Spain, creating one-of-a-kind unique blends of digital computer generated and watercolor designs. His work has been used in print media as well as displayed in large print formats.
Meet Christina Roberson, the creative mind behind Bohemian Wild, a sweet indie personal style blog. She works by day in the music pro audio industry and by night gigging around town. Last week, I met up with Christina at her house in Old Town—an adorable mid-century cottage—and we drove to her favorite Ft. Worth vegan cafe, Spiral Diner, in her ’89 BMW 325. Christina cruises around like the biggest boss girl I have ever observed and her hipster music playlist kept us dancing in our seats with the windows down on the highway. She is a lovely lady—and so level headed. I don’t know how anyone could ever not adore her. Here’s a random snapshot I took of her in a pair of WCS Lola oversize cat eye sunglasses in front of my home.
