True fact: We never met a pair of classic upturned vintage sunnies of any variation that we didn’t absolutely love. But, even we have to concede, there’s something really extraordinary about our WCS Kat cat eye sunglasses. No matter if we’re all babed out and turning heads in a pretty little summer blue floral dress and black platforms like Lucia of Vintage Shoes For Her, or lookin’ good catching some rays in our favorite swim wear and floppy hat, we will forever be sweet on our precious cat eyes.

This Spring, we’re very much about keeping things new and fresh—especially when it comes to our vintage cat eye sunglasses with a retro flair. Between our Mambo round cat eye sunnies (pictured above) to our rhinestone studded Wild Chain cat eye style (and everything in between), we certainly have no shortage of mind-blowing new arrivals. So, we asked our girl Anastasija of Stasha Fashion to pose with her favorite pair and tell us why she’s putting them at the top of her wish list this season. Turns out Ms. A chose the Mambos for their unique shape and their awesome feline allure!

Spring textures unite! Model/personal style blogger and Turkish babe Viktoriya killed it (yes, she did) in a super monochromatic head-to-toe ensemble that features a dash of pastel, crackle print silk blouse, acid washed black jeans and a pair of reflective WCS mirrored aviators. The finished look is a polished and sophisticated layer upon layer of interesting tones and textures. We love this effortless city chic look so much that we decided to check out Ms. V’s blog Tie Bow-Tie for even more inspiration for unique, yet classic ensemble looks of the current season.

Say hello to the ultimate summer collaboration: Wholesale Celebshades and Stylnoxe! We’ve got clear lens glasses galore (find the Kasey big round glasses in the photo above-here). But before you start snagging up our exclusive new arrival eye wear—find out straight from French blogger, Matthias Cornilleau, how to style these babies for looks that really turn heads. To start with, Matthias is no stranger to the how-to’s of creating visual artistry. And fashion is his blank canvas. Matter of fact, we were so intrigued with his creativity that we wanted to learn more about this interesting student of political sciences, marketing and communications. So when we sat down with him, he shared his favorite pastimes (all right-brain related) — drawing, listening to the British band Archive, playing piano and taking snapshots. Turns out he also has a deep respect for our planet and considers himself to be somewhat of an earth guardian. He’s the real deal…a true artist and humanitarian at heart. Be sure to check out all his awesome looks over on his blog!

Alanna Durkovich reminds us of a quintessential 60s free spirit. The Canadian-based creative mind behind the blog Xander Vintage (and full-time mom) gets super pumped at the mention of alternative, indie electronic and rock music. And she freely admits that any use of synthesizers, drum machines, and samplers to create absorbing beats are an A+ in her books. We think you’d agree that Ms. A can turn heads effortlessly with her impetuously unique style. We sat down with our newest personal style blogger to talk about some of her favorite topics: vintage fashion, music festivals and road trips. And it turns out she’s got a quirky side too… she tells us when she was in high school, she had a penchant for photoshopping the boys in her class into women! Take a peek at her favorite look from some recent family travel snapshots where she composed this color-rich ethnic ensemble complete with a pair of WCS Bentley metal visor sunglasses.

Everyone could use a little more happiness, right? Here at WCS, we all got to talking the other day and agreed that we find ourselves thinking more and more about what is really important to us, what really makes us happy. We put priorities on the people we want to spend time with and the activities we want to pursue. And it seems that happiness involves becoming more in the moment, being present and aware of the little things that make us smile and give us a a heart full of love and gratitude.
Enter 100 Happy Days. This happiness challenge is all about sharing photos of something that makes you happy each day for 100 consecutive days. Easy, right? But maybe not. Over on their website, 100happydays.com, the creator of the 100 happy day challenge says 71% of people who start, don’t finish. And you must be thinking “why not?” Apparently the reason for quitting was participants said they didn’t have time to be happy. Now that’s just nuts!
We’re all down for more happiness so we’re making the commitment to get behind this very worthwhile challenge. And you can too. All you have to do is share a photo with hashtag #100HappyDays on your facebook, twitter, instagram, in a text, etc. with others each day for 100 days. At the end of the challenge you’ll have some awesome visual reminders of your extraordinary life. We hope you’ll join us in the journey to more and more happiness! Let’s get started.

One thing is for sure—we’re all about the less-is-more philosophy, and sometimes it’s as simple as taking a few pieces to truly make a show-stopping outfit. See: Iliana of The Rag Dolls. This 24-year old/information & technology student (aka Greek goddess) paired a simple black crop top with some high waisted jean shorts, a long cross necklace and a pair of WCS Leighton small round sunnies to prove that minimalism is alive and well when it’s time to do some head turning. Don’t get us wrong, Iliana is so much more than just a pretty face. She has a love of photography, The Beatles, watching old movies with her besties and yes…traveling the world. Be sure to check her out over on her blog!

New Age Goth
Meet Patsy Hilton a.k.a. personal stylist extraordinaire. He lives and works in the hip city of Lodzh, Poland where
he creates awesome fashion ensembles and shares them regularly on his mega creative blog. Patsy’s personal look might best be defined as trendy new age goth (or something similar), and we love how he rocks it from the tips of his close-cut blond buzz to his WCS Leighton small round sunnies, on down to the toes of his silver metallic tennies.
